Mineral Makeup

I was a huge makeup junkie from the time I was about 13 until I was around 23 or so... at the peak of it I actually had a HUGE tackle box-like plastic carrying case of makeup (when I was going through my goth phase). When I became a raver, however, I started to value the HEALTHY skin look and eventually realized that make-up was not really all that compatible with having healthy skin. I switched my obsession to healthy cleansers, lotions, oils- all made of essential oils - and trying to eat and drink things that would make my skin glow from the inside out. I never quit using lip balm and eyeliner, though. I have been using Dr. Hauschka eyeliner for over five years now. Today I took a step forward into the world of mineral makeup, by buying some concealer that is supposed to hide red blemishes and might possibly work on the black circles I sometimes get under my eyes. Supposedly, the mineral makeup I bought is supposed to be good for the skin by protecting it from harmful sun rays. Here is the brand I am trying out:

Larenim Hocus Pocus Concealer

I also bought an application brush from another mineral makeup brand called Mineral Fusion:
