My Career is Right Where I Want It To Be

I haven't had a full-time permanent job since I left the University of Virginia in September 2003 to go back to college to finish my Bachelors Degree. After I graduated in September of 2005, I had a 4 months stint of working at a fancy high rise office in Bethesda, Maryland which ended in a 2 month tele-commuting from home situation. That was cool and paid really well. The best part was that it wasn't *permanent*. Now that I think of it, my position at UVA wasn't permanent either. It was a 2 1/2 year contract. I've just realized that I have been free-lancing for about 5 years!

Right now I am doing Flash Programming for a Recording Studio here in the Charlottesville area. I think this is my favorite job ever. I get to work from wherever I want. Right now I am sitting in Mudhouse, a coffee shop on the downtown mall doing work. This rocks. :)

I Like To Dance

So, yeah, even though I don't go out to parties that much any more... I still dance all the time. While Santino spins records in the studio, I dance. Sometimes I record myself, to objectively look at how I am doing so I can improve. I also share the clips with a group of dancers on a dance related messageboard based out of Philadelphia, so they can give me feedback towards improvement.

The Guilty Compilation Volume 5

We got the artwork for the record that contains a track I did vocals for. It's currently at the pressing plant and will be finished in about a month. I can't wait to get the record in my hands and spin it! :D

I'm getting a new camera!

My Uncle Bob just called me and said that he gets to choose a Christmas present from a catalog that his company circulates, and if I want to choose something from it for my present because he doesn't see anything he wants or needs. I'm getting a new 6.0 Mega-pixel digital camera! Yay! Hopefully this new camera will take much better pictures than my old one.
