Woo Hoo!

As usual it has been a really long time since I have posted an update. For the past couple of months I have been a candidate for a position at the University of Virginia Arts and Sciences Department. Because of the uncertainty of my chances of getting it I have been trying to keep on the down-low (you never know who is going to read it). BUT! It turns out that I was offered a position and I accepted! I start on March 10th. I am VERY, VERY happy about this. My current job as a freelance developer has sort of run its course in regard to my happiness. It is time for the next stage of my life! A couple of cool things about the new job: 1. There is a ping pong table. 2. I am going to be working with one of my former co-workers, Jeremy. 3. If I want to get my Masters degree I get free tuition. UVA offers a Graduate Degree in Music Composition and Computer Technologies. :)

Past

My ex-boyfriend who I was with from the age 16-20 emailed me a couple of weeks ago. It made me really happy. I sent him a link to my flickr account and it inspired him to open one up so he could share pictures as well.

It is so weird to see him with a beard! :) I have had three serious relationships in my life, and Clif was the first. We were more friends than soulmates but I learned a lot from the whole experience about relationships. Not all of it was pleasant but it is okay because it seems like everything turned out really well for both of us in the end. He seems very happy and successful. I am glad. :)
